Start with a touchscreen induction hob. Add extra induction zones, a teppanyaki and downdraft ventilation side by side in one line, or use the touchscreen hob on its own.

Fisher & Paykel's modular cooktops are winners in the Product Design category of the Red Dot Design Awards 2025.
Every set has one touchscreen hob. Add up to two extra hobs, and choose how to remove the steam.
1
The primary hob. A touchscreen induction hob in 39, 60, 76 or 90 cm. It controls the whole set, or works as a hob on its own.
2
Up to two modules. Extra induction in 30 or 39 cm, a 39 cm teppanyaki, or one of each. They are run from the primary hob.
3
Ventilation. One or two downdraft extractors in the worktop, or one compatible Fisher & Paykel hood above the hob.

Centralised touchscreen control
The primary hob has a 6-inch touchscreen that runs every part of the set: its own zones, the extra induction hobs, the teppanyaki and the downdraft. No knobs or dials, just refined graphics on the glass.
With Link Mode, the primary hob also works with the downdraft or a compatible Fisher & Paykel hood, so the fan switches on and off by itself as you cook.
Place the modules where they suit the way you cook.

80–220 °C2 zones
The CIT392DX1 teppanyaki goes from a gentle 80 °C for keeping food warm, through 160–200 °C for pancakes, halloumi, chicken and vegetables, up to 200–220 °C for grilling.
It holds the temperature you set, even as you add cold ingredients. Cook with your guests around you, without pots or pans.

30 or 39 cmBoost 3700 W
CI392DB1 (39 cm) and CI302DB1/CI302DG1 (30 cm) add two induction zones of 2100 W each, with Boost up to 3700 W.
SmartZone links the front and rear zone and controls them as one, so there is room for a griddle, a large pan or a whole fish.

5 speeds + Boost519 m³/h
The CD13DG1 downdraft sits next to the hobs, so you don't need a hood above them. That suits kitchen islands and open-plan kitchens. Close the cover when you're not using it.
Open the cover and Link Mode sets the fan speed to match the zones next to it. Delayed Off keeps extracting for a while after you finish.

Included with every primary hob
Put the Wireless Temperature Sensor in a steak to follow the core temperature in real time, or let the hob tell you when the target is reached.
For sous vide and poaching, the sensor works with the hob to hold the water at the right temperature.

Hood-in-hob
Prefer everything in one piece? CID834DTB4 is an 83 cm induction hob with the extractor built into the centre: four zones, two of which link into a SmartZone, and nine fan speeds plus Boost, up to 660 m³/h.
CID834DTB4 is ducted, so the air is led outside. CID834RDTB4 recirculates the air through ceramic odour filters and returns it through a toe-kick vent.

All modules sit side by side in one shared cut-out, 2 mm apart, and are 53 cm deep. Set them flush with the worktop or on top of it. A qualified electrician must connect them.

Connect the primary hob to Wi-Fi to see power levels, timers and sensor readings in the SmartHQ™ app, with alerts when a timer ends or a temperature is reached.

Minimal style, designed to match Fisher & Paykel's touchscreen ovens. The 60, 76 and 90 cm hobs and the 30 cm module come in black or grey glass; the teppanyaki is stainless steel.
The primary hobs (CI905DTT, CI764DTT, CI604DTT and CI392DTTB1) have the touchscreen and can be used on their own. The modules (the extra induction hobs CI392DB1 and CI302D, the CIT392DX1 teppanyaki and the CD13DG1 downdraft) have no controls and only work together with a primary hob.
One primary hob per set, plus up to two extra hobs: induction, teppanyaki or one of each. For ventilation, choose one or two downdrafts, or one compatible Fisher & Paykel hood above the hob.
The downdraft draws steam from the cooking zones right next to it, so place it beside the zones you use most. Where a downdraft can't reach the zones well, Fisher & Paykel recommends a hood above the hob instead. The downdraft can't be used next to a gas hob.
One Wireless Temperature Sensor comes with each primary hob. The modules don't include one. More sensors are sold separately.
Before the first use, clean the plate with a damp cloth and a mild detergent, then heat it to 220 °C for 30 minutes. The plate bows slightly with use as the steel expands and contracts, which is normal.
Pans with a magnetic base: stainless steel, carbon steel, cast iron, enamelled steel or cast iron, and aluminium or copper pans with a magnetic base. The teppanyaki needs no pans at all.
The images are examples that show the product benefits. They may differ slightly from the actual product, and some show modules in a different colour.
